I was fascinated to be in Old San Juan and see its tremendous improvement. This place was only a restaurant before and was also known for its spa services. Now it's getting bigger, as they have just opened their hotel, which launched in December 2014.
The photos below were taken in 2013. I noticed how the restaurant and services improved. Their spa was relocated to the hotel premises and replaced by a coffee shop where guests can freely read books. They have a mini library inside. The chandeliers were changed to Capiz, adding more highlights and appeal to the antique design.

Some of you may wonder if it is expensive to eat at this restaurant because of its appearance. If you're in Batangas, you should definitely try Batangas Lomi. If you are in San Juan, I believe this is the best place to enjoy it due to its affordable price. Their Lomi costs P100.00 and is good for 3-4 persons. I have heard that they offer budget meals served downstairs.
We are also privileged to take a tour inside the hotel. Their staff are kind and very accommodating. The hotel's theme is Filipiniana. All rooms have Tagalog names. Below are some photos of the rooms taken from their official website.
