I will tell of the Lord’s unfailing love.

I will praise the Lord for all he has done.

I will rejoice in his great goodness to Israel,

which he has granted according to his mercy and love.

Today is a special day for my youngest son and a reminder of God's sovereignty over all.  

Spending every day with our children highlights how uncertain life can be. We can never know what lies ahead, and life is full of uncertainties. Yet, despite all the trials and troubles our family has faced, God's great goodness has always been present. We have hope and security beyond life's uncertainties because  He holds our future.

I have learned that I cannot control what is to come; nothing is certain or permanent. I can't even provide a completely safe place for my children, but I know that the God I serve will be with me and my family every single day.  I will continue to trust in the Lord and place my hope in Him.  He will never fail.

Being human, I tend to forget how God can work in the most challenging situations and often cannot see how He is moving amid every trial. However, God demonstrates His love and grace, despite my weaknesses.

Today, I will speak of God's unfailing love because He deserves it! I praise the Lord for my son's life, which speaks of God's miracle every day!
